Lion Computers Do Not Come With iDVD

Computers that come with the new Apple operating system Lion (10.7) do not come with iDVD installed on them. In order to get a copy of iDVD you need to purchase iLife. iLife is $49 from Apple. Without iDVD there is no program that will allow you to burn DVD's installed on the computer. Any customers that have already bought a Mac with Lion on it and have any questions feel free to contact us.

Avoid Package Issues When Capturing

There have been a lot of issues with packages not opening after you capture the video. There are a few steps that can be taken during the capture process that will help to maintain the structure of the video package.

1. Always start the camera then start the capture process within Sportscode.

2. When the Capture process starts, wait for about 30 Sec. before using the pause feature.

3. When ending the capture process, always stop the capture in Sportscode before stopping the camera. This also includes the tape ending. Always make sure there is enough tape at the end to stop the capture before the tape runs out.

These three easy steps will help to ensure that the video is captured properly, and the video package is written correctly. If for some reason you are not seeing any video there is instructions to rebuild the package Here
